Speed limited again with 120AC crap. Wish they'd fix the unit for the US. On this ride I had to gingerly goose it from the gate at the Fortius can't handle more than 2000watts, turned out ok and was able to hold a high max power.

Didn't feel so fresh today! A bit tired, but following Chris Aulton around made things easier, and faster too! About a %5-%10 savings in the draft. I was easily able to keep up at the faster pace, and then come around to solo the last 5miles at some 380Watts... Sprint power was only 580Watts or so, that solo effort zapped me a bit.... More HR monitor problems, off to the store tomorrow for a replacement, HR is divided by 2 I think here. Also, and stormy, rainy day in Oakland CA, couldn't do the normal Tuesday night ride, so here I am! ;-)

Finally back to the VR world! Did 100mi yesterday including 55mi of the "House of Pain" group ride. Legs hurt bad on this, not recovering well from long/hard rides so close to riding hard again. Need to email Tacx, this watt limit is annoying. Near the end as soon as my power exceeded 2000watts the brake engaged to 100% stopping my sprint cold! Lame! I am a track sprinter the shutoff shouldn't be until 3000Watts. :-(

Well this is all I'm good for at the moment. Hard as hell, especially after the 2 big sprint efforts earlier this evening. O'well, at least a point to improve from! (note, did this one entirely in the drops as well as all the other rides tonight.This should help move that VR power into race ready power where it counts!)

Another rainy week in Northern California so it's back to the VR world. I dedicate this ~490Watt ride to all those VR riders without 120AC restrictions (and IMagic trainers) going fast with less effort. Rok and Andrew, this Bud's for you! :-)

Felt good on the first few laps, but those hills really just started taking their toll. :-( Apparently I'm not fully recovered from Sunday's race, and Tuesday's training ride. Terrible performance indeed! HR monitor took like 5minutes to wake up too.

Had the head flu 3 days ago...just now back on the bike. Still a bunch of crap in lower lungs, so I kept this to a pace that I could both do easily and breath out of nose the entire time. Hard to take it easy. Wound it up on the few short hills though. Gonna keep it low pace this week...hopefully there wasn't much damage done to engineering...

It's another rainy/cold week in California, so back to the VR world it is. This is the first ride up, and this was like midevil torture. The first 10laps were fine, and held over 400Watts the last 15 were a painful struggle to keep it at 390Watts. Really not an endurance guy I guess.

I don't know how much longer I can keep this up. Thank God there are only 2 days left. Legs are beginning to fatigue. Good power output on this ride though. No 50kph limited downhills to slow me down. (due to US motor controller). Might need to talk with Keith about accounting for this somehow. In anycase that power output should put a good minute or two on the 6th place or lesser GC guys. ;-)

wow, really hard route here. Managed to keep up with the pacers on the uphill. It's soo hard to keep up with the pacers on downhills...seems silly as me + bike are 101Kg..people should have a hard time keeping up with me. Must be the 120VAC control unit issue limiting max speed. Anycase there ya go!

Felt fairly good on this one. Tried to keep it in the low 400W range. Didn't bother with the sprint. Long week...jeez, only half way there. I don't know how those pro tour riders do it...I mean I'm having a hard time just doing a VR tour for only 8days!!!! Drugs I tell ya, drugs..they're all dopin'!

Not sure what's harder...keeping the watts up on the downhill or the *crushing* and demorolizingly steep climbs...jesus-h-christ! I managed to keep it near 400Watts on the climbs. Really tough ride, hopefully it's good enough to get my 5th position on GC back. Didn't bother with any sprinting points, climber points or downhill points. Although I was able to ramp it up to over 1000W on the last 200m... ;-)

Well messed up with the 16k Callisto Aries ride...thought that was the VCF ride! I left it all out on that one too. This was the actual VCF ride, only 15min after the other hard effort. The avg power wasn't down that much though, only 7W, but still!!!! o'well

10minute warmup on Olympus. Immediately left the pacer of myself and Morten A Olsen. Tucked in behind Chris Aulton, but lost him about half way through and couldn't pull him back. This ride hurt a lot...

3 days rest off the bike, no partying over the weekend. 30min easy warmup on the 12mi Olympus route, and bam! The smack down. :-) Hopefully I'll break 50s next time.
