New I- Magic riders

Some of the new members who have joined the VCF and use an I-Magic may use Fortius rider as a pacer. They may wonder why they can keep up on the flat and go quicker on the downhill s, but uphill they just cannot keep up. The magic has Virtual Speed. The reason for the virtual speed is that the I-Magic cannot generate high resistance at low revolutions. The Magic has to be running at high speed to generate resistance. The Fortius can generate high resistance at low revolutions and virtual speed is not needed. The virtual speed calculations for the I-Magic are not correct, or at least not correct as far as being close to the Fortius. Tacx are not planning to change this so we are stuck with it. However the Fortius has a speed limitation on the downhill to prevent the thing overheating and blowing a fuse.
